Baitadi – A total of 479 people got recovery from the coronavirus infection in Baitadi since the first case appeared here on May 22.
Of the total 500 cases, 20 are still active while a person succumbed to the virus in Baitadi, according to the officials.

Altogether, 76 persons, out of 82 infected cases, won the battle against the virus in Patan Municipality, the Health Office, Baitadi said. Likewise, 74 persons recovered in Dasharathchand Municipality among the 82 infected persons, COVID-19 Focal Person of Baitadi Bhuwan Joshi said.

Currently, Dasharathchand Municipality has eight active reported cases, six in Patan Municipality, four in Surnaya Rural Municipality and one each in Dogdakedar and Pancheshwor rural municipalities.

There is not a single reported case of the virus in Shivanath Rural Municipality, Melauli Municipality, Dilashaini Rural Municipality, Purchaudi Municipality and Sigas Rural Municipality at present. So far, the RT-PCR test of 6,482 persons was conducted in Baitadi.
