KTM – The reconstruction of historical religious site, Ichhakamana temple, has been stalled in lack of wooden resource.
Ichhakamana is considered to be one among seven sisters of Manakamana of Gorkha.

The reconstruction of the Ichhakamana rural municiplaity-5 based temple has been put off due to shortage of woods lately, shared temple management committee chair Ram Prasad Bohora.

“The temple rebuild has been completely halted since last October for no availability of woods”, he said, adding that the process for the arrangement of wooden resource has already initiated.

The temple, surrounded by green forest area, is located at an altitude of 1,800 metres from sea level. —
